Get The Look - Burnished Pearl Effects Over Pitch Black Glaze and Brick Red Milk Paint

Add a subtle touch of gold with Burnished Pearl Effects! Learn more about Pearl Effects here: https://youtu.be/7c5WZEwA9wI

Begin with two coats of Brick Red Milk Paint, topped with a coat of Satin High Performance Topcoat once the paint is completely dry. Let the topcoat dry, then glaze the piece with Pitch Black Glaze Effects, and top with another layer of High Performance to seal in the glaze. After this has dried, use a small artist's brush to apply the Burnished Pearl in the recessed or detailed areas of your piece to add interest and a hint of shimmer. Wipe off the excess, leaving the Pearl in the distressed areas only.

Allow the piece to dry overnight. Don't forget, always apply Pearl Effects over a wood surface that has been sealed with our waterbased milk paint or topcoat, and then protect your new finish with waterbased topcoat, such as High Performance or Flat Out Flat.
