One of his chairs, "Curvis Sedis
II," is particularly memorable. It's got complex joinery of
interlocking dovetails, as well as spline dovetails, a covered seat
that's tapered to the edge, and a frame made of bent laminations. "It
was a real test of seeing how far I could go, and push the limits of
what I could do, to make it. I was sort of challenging myself, I
guess," Jason said.
This was Jason's entry in the Texas Furniture Makers Show in 2012 - beauty in every detail!.
This is a media cabinet Jason finished for a client. All walnut, with ebonized poplar legs. It's 100" long! The open spaces are for AV components, and the center channel speaker. The large openings on each end are for additional speakers. See the long miter joint - never easy.

contemporary style, largely because "I do not like to copy
anything," he said. When potential customers approach him about
building something they've seen in a furniture store, "If
they're happy with those there, I tell 'em to go buy it. It will be
two to three times more if I build it. Some people don't understand
Here is our latest drum, and our first use of Enduro Var Gloss. The picture does not even begin to show the mirrored high gloss finish of this drum. We are very excited about your product and intend to use it for our natural wood drums. Thanks again, MarkM4 Drum Co.
Meet "Rockstar", a cleverly designed buffet finished in Coastal Blue Milk Paint with coral interior and chevron drawer lining. The Coral color can be achieved mixing 50|50 Somerset Yellow and Brick Red. Way to go Cindy!
Contributed by Cindy Hickly of NewFangled Designs - Cindy says, "I believe it is a superior product and just adore it's ease of use. I have my own design and visual merchandising business and have played around with many different paints but really like yours the best!"
This project only took 3 years but you and General Finishes were a big help. I get complements on the color all the time. I had no business taking on this project but I finally got done and General Finishes made it easy. Black Cherry water based on birch with High Performance Top Coat. Thank you, Brian Black
Refinished with Nutmeg Gel Stain by General Finishes. We love the lustrous finish when rubbing out the 2nd & 3rd coats. Gel Stains are formulated to produce a durable & beautiful "hand-rubbed" finish & are heavy-bodied, so they do not penetrate as deeply as liquid oilbase stains. Because of this, they are often less affected by
the condition of the wood & can help get an even look on difficult woods.
The train painting is the first of many projects that are planned for a yearlong temporary art initiative along 20 blocks of Fond du Lac Ave.
With buckets of bright-colored paint and wide paintbrushes, dozens of volunteers took to the street Sunday and created a work of art out of an otherwise dark city intersection below a wide and low railroad viaduct.
Called "A Common Denominator," the graphic painting, made by local artists, neighbors and inmates, among others, brings a cheery choo-choo train to the corner of W. Fond du Lac Ave. and W. Locust St.
