This is a traditional oak dining set for my daughter. It was finished with G/F Pecan Oil Stain and Satin Arm-R-Seal â 4-5 coats with the exception of the table top. I used Old Masters paste grain filler after the stain, then 8 coats of Arm-R-Seal. Larry J. Edwards, Ph.D., FSAScot., KSG
This is the recreation of the exterior of our churchâs 25-year old organ console using solid walnut and walnut veneer. Have used G/F Walnut Oil Stain and Satin Arm-R-Seal for all applications. Larry J. Edwards, Ph.D., FSAScot., KSG
This was supposed to be a drill press cabinet for my shop but since everyone said it was too nice for the shop, it is now sitting in my kitchen waiting for me to get started on the cabinets. Millstone Milk Paint with Van Dyke Brown glaze with High Performance Satin finish coats.
Here is a picture of a porch Glider that I finished several weeks ago. It was finished with General Finishes water based Golden Oak stain and General Finishes water based High Performance Polyurethane, gloss. The wood is all Red Oak. There were rubber pads glued to the bottom of the feet with silicon adhesive, to protect the wood on a concrete surface.

Here is the Wood Turners Finish on one of my canes. Mesquite Shaft, Kingwood handle, Turquoise inlay and Brass collar and Ferrule. All exotic hardwoods, hand made...turned, sanded, inlayed, and finished. Just purchased by a collector. Beautiful finish and the WTF went on easily. I think I've found a new supplier. Feel free to use this pic if you wish. It's the least I can do for you turning me on this finish. (No pun intended) Thank you again for your courtesy.
Unfinished Furniture chest finished with Millstone Milk Paint, then over-painted with Lamp Black Milk Paint, then distressed to show the color underneath from the gang at General Finishes. Like Annie Sloan Chalk Paint? - try this!
The table is built from poplar. There are two coats of Lamp Black, two of High Performance Water Based Top Coat, two coats of Red Pepper Milk Paint sanded through to show some of the black. Then Van Dyke Brown Glaze was applied. The whole piece was finished with High Performance Top Coat using an hvlp sprayer. The pictures do not show enough definition but it is by far the best finish I have ever done. Thanks for your great service and fabulous water base finishes! Mike Mooneyham
