What a great kitchen island by Craig Bentzley! To finish this piece he used Bayberry Green and Snow White milk paint, glazed (over the white only) with Van Dyke Brown Glaze Effects. The topcoats were five coats of GF High Performance Satin. All interior surfaces, including the drawers were top coated with 3 coats of GF High Performance Satin. "Believe it or not, the glazing was done by oil lamp light during our week-long power outage when we got hit by hurricane Sandy. I was going crazy so I had to do something! The legs came from Osborne Wood Products but the island was my design," says Craig. ... Thanks to all the good folks at General Finishes for their unwavering support.
