This is General Finishes' most advanced primer, and it is the most expensive. If bleed-through is NOT a concern, use one of our other physical primers: Enduro White Undercoat or Enduro Deep Base Primer.

Enduro Stain Blocker is General Finishes’ revolutionary chemical stain-blocking primer for professional, industrial, and homeowner applications. 

Stain blocking means stain blocking—there is no substitute for this primer. This chemical primer has a sophisticated resin system, an atypical formulation and is formulated for maximum effectiveness.  It provides the strongest, most protective chemical barrier on the market. Even with testing, there is no guarantee that stains will not display long after the project is complete, but it is your best insurance against tannin bleed-through and discoloration when painting raw wood surfaces or existing finishes in white or light colors.
