Woodworker Wednesday - Scott Meek Woodworks

It's that time of the week again! Woodworker Wednesday, where we showcase noteworthy woodworkers, carpenters, and furniture makers in an effort to bring more awareness and appreciation to the art and craftsmanship of woodworking. This week, we're thrilled to feature furniture artisan and hand tool aficionado Scott of Scott Meek Woodworks! His passion for hand tools led Scott to specialize in crafting exceptional wood body planes and offer classes to teach those ambitious woodworkers out there how to craft their own! 

Scott shares, "I am passionate about creating beautiful items through the medium of wood. I grew up around the construction trades, so I've just always been around wood. The first time I mitered a corner trim joint together tightly, it changed my life forever... Creating something with hand tools develops an intimacy with the wood that you can't get any other way. It forces me to focus more intently on what I am doing, how I use the grain of the wood or what type of joinery I will use."
