GF is happy to present out 2016 May Retailer of the Month, Lindsay Tate Creates!

Lindsay started out refinishing furniture for her own home back in 2009. This weekend work quickly turned into a hobby between working shifts as a nurse. Friends and family were lining up to have pieces refinished and in 2013 this hobby turned into a side business helping with expenses for her young growing family. In 2014 Lindsay gave birth to her second child who suffered from some medical issues that made it impossible for her to return to nursing job full time. Lindsay worked hard to push her business to the next level while juggling work, physical therapy sessions, doctors appointments and raising two children. In late 2014, Lindsay made the decision to leave her nine year nursing career and pursue her passion full time. The business took a turn in early 2015 and went brick and mortar. Lindsay is passionate about bringing new life to old pieces by seeing the "what could be" and then making it happen. You will usually find Lindsay in her workshop covered in paint or hosting craft nights and paint classes. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and two children which sometimes even includes picking furniture!
