General Finishes is proud to name The Shabby Chicas as our Retailer of the Month for March 2017
"Over 35 years ago, Ms. Irene (pictured on our business card) our mother and the original "Chica", discovered the art of salvaging and repurposing. We, as her daughters, are blessed to continue this tradition with our mother who inspires us everyday. We specialize in all things vintage ~ from hand-painted furniture and collectibles with a shabby chic flair, to unusual, quirky, and fun finds! Let us know what you are looking for." ~Irene, Rose, Diana, & Alma
Metamorphosis Design is General Finishes February 2017 Retailer of the Month!

We asked Meaghan Wolfe of Metamorphosis Design what she loves most about GF and or GF products?
"The Distressed Gentleman is a hand painted furniture store that offers custom work, home decor and General Finishes products. Located in the historic downtown of Bristol Virginia, we got our start when I inherited some of my Grandmother's old furniture. The bones were great, but the cosmetics were awful. Being the sentimental person I am, I couldnt throw it away. I also didnt want it displayed in my house because it wasnt attractive. So I painted it. I did the dining room suite and gave it to my mother as a gift.
The General Finishes 2016 August Retailer of the Month is The Roost Mercantile.
Kristin of The Roost says, "I am a furniture painter, designer and picker of all things vintage. I own my own shop where I house over 75 amazingly talented vendors. Our speciality is home decor, vintage finds, upcycling and speciality gift items. I am loving what I do and loving my life."
