Jenny of Rustic Roots says, "I was serving and managing at a high end restaurant for ten years. I observed many of my co-workers making some serious side cash selling up-cycled furniture. I always had an interest in art and my father taught me to use tools and work with my hands, so I thought, "I can do that and make some extra money!" I started renting at a local store and quickly worked my way up. My little hobby became a real money maker! I decided to take all my art experience and work that into my pieces and really focus on quality. When General Finishes approached me to try their product I was flattered and I quickly fell in love with the quality and texture of the smooth buttery finish! I threw out all of my old chalk painting products and made the switch and never looked back! I went from renting a small cabinet in that local store, to a 10 X 10 room six months later, then to a space twice that size. Within the year I opened my own little 900 square foot storefront building. I out grew that building within three years and now have a three thousand square foot building with an art studio for painting classes. I believe in my heart that General Finishes products are a big reason for my success. Of course a lot of hard work, determination, an eye for quality, being unique and embracing constructive criticism is a recipe for success! Most people are surprised to find out that I've only been doing this for just about four years!"

"I love the smooth buttery feel when furniture or cabinets are finished using GF. This is my best selling key. All I have to say is, "feel it" and it works every time! I never felt 100% confident sending my pieces with customers or completing cabinet jobs when using other competitive products."
