This weeks Woodworker Wednesday features Bradford Woodworking from Pennsylvania. They specialize in axe-handle and farm-themed furniture. Their style is recognizable by its unique, textured legs for chairs, beds, tables, coat racks, and more.
"The idea is to make something special out of something ordinary, explains owner Brad. "Ax handles seemed to be the perfect chair leg with their gentle S-curve and knobby foot. Pitchforks make ideal supports for chair backs and they even have some spring when you lean back.

For this weeks General Finishes Woodworker Wednesday series, we are featuring Ruth, aka The WoodGal! Her work spans a range of projects, from trash-to-treasure rehabs to fine custom furniture, like tables and dressers.
After the passing of her husband, Ruth wanted to focus on something that would keep her busy, so in 1991 she created her own shop and began her custom woodworking business.
Ruth is also an avid gardner and blogger. "I hope my blog will inspire you in some way like I've been inspired by so many other bloggers out there," she writes.

This week for General Finishes Woodworker Wednesday, we are featuring the very talented Chris Sowa of Lumbertown Woodworkers! He is both a woodworker and chef! Chris says "I began making furniture for my house upon my wife's request a few years ago. I quickly went from making small, simple furniture with lumber from the big box stores, to making fine furniture using local maple, cherry and walnut, Chris is now a successful self-taught woodworker. His work consists of a great variety, from dishes and dressers to handmade cutting blocks and spoon assortments.
