This coffee table done by Kevin of Delk's Custom Furniture, got a face lift with General Finishes

Jaret Cameron of Ancom Custom Cabinets, www.ancomcabinets.com, was a first time user of our water based stains.

For today's Transformation Tuesday, we wanted to share this project by Beth of Farm Fresh Vintage Finds.

Water Based Stains will always exhibit a bit of bleed through. When glazing with any color over water stains, we recommend some type of seal coat is applied first.

The answer is no, General Finishes Milk Paint does not require sealing, especially for lower use pieces such as a coffee table.

General Finishes Water Based Stains have superior qualities over oil-based stains. Their high-quality pigments produce rich, dark, uniform colors on hard-to-stain woods like maple and pine.

It's Woodworking Wednesday!
