Happy Woodworker Wednesday! This week features resourceful, talented, and hard-working Anne Briggs Bohnett of Anne of All Trades, LLC!

Anne shares, "I took up woodwork and restoring old tools. That hobby has turned into an obsession. I spend much of my time thinking about how I can get better, about new things I can make, and about new books I have to read... It's Throwback Thursday! We're taking you all the way back to the totally rad year of 1984, when George Adams (he does exist!) purchased General Finishes. Operations officially began in December of 1985 with only two employees - George and Rob - and state of the art equipment!

On Wednesdays, we do woodworking! This week's feature is Keira James of Meraki Furniture, a dedicated and passionate furniture designer and maker.

She says, "I always wanted to make furniture... For some reason I loved the idea of it, and my mind kept going back to it. For no apparent reason, I wanted to make furniture... I jumped with both feet into the unknown, and it's shaping up to be one of the best decisions of my life. Spend time thinking about what your passion is, you only get one life to live so make sure you spend it doing what you love."

US Veteran Juan Baret has hit it out of the park with Baret Bats, a startup specializing in handcrafted custom baseball bats! A true inspiration, Juan takes the time to craft each bat for his clients, with his care and attention to detail is apparent in each project.
